Many people tell us that one of the items on their bucket list is to Swim with Sharks. But as much as they want it, they might not be able to afford it. So we've done some of the thinking for you. Here are some things that you can do to find a sponsor to help pay for your Tagging trip:

Start here --> Print out a few copies of our Sponsorship Form

At work

workWill your boss or your company sponsor you as a way of showing support for the community and for ocean conservation? Ask your boss if she/he would spearhead this for you. What?  They want to go to?  Simple. Just print out another form for them!

Does your company have a sponsorship 'Matching' program? If so, they'll match whatever you raise thereby cutting your job in half.

Email

emailSend an email announcement to all of your friends, relatives and anyone else who'll listen. Attach our Sponsorship Form to your email. You might be surprised to see who might actually step up!

Around town

town-cartAre you a known frequenter at local business establishments?  The Dry Cleaners, local shops and restaurants?  Give them each a form and ask them to sponsor you. You will provide them with a nice Certificate that they can proudly show that they support your efforts as well as support for sharks and our oceans.

FaceBook

FBPost a note on your FB page and let folks know that you'd really like to swim with the sharks and would they be interested in sponsoring you? After all, they ARE your 'Friends', aren't they?

Family & Friends

fam-friendsThey say they love you, right? Now they can prove it by putting their money where their mouth is!

Twitter

twitterGreat way to let it slip that you'd like some sponsors to help you get to swim with the sharks. Could get retweeted a million times. Could become viral. Could get too many sponsors. If this happens, please let us know, as we know a whole bunch of people who like you, can't afford it either!

Have any more ideas to share?  We'd love to hear them!

Good luck - and we'll see you in Bahia de Los Angeles when we go Swimming with the Sharks!
